wow, its done, and Landon would really like
just one bite.....but the girls wanted to save it
show mommy and daddy's, we didn't...
we ate cookies, and cakes, and so did Landon
but we did take pictures, and yes, Shelby has
removed her shirt, she has switched aprons, and
Preslee didn't care, she was just happy that mixer thing was done...not her favorite....we had a blast.....I have Christmas pictures ready, but I was a little under the weather on Christmas Eve, and don't really have great ones, Mark didn't do a good job again.........but I will put them on here.

they are done, now, and Shelby couldn't help giving Preslee a big kiss for all her help, and then of course Preslee gave Shelby one, and then they hugged, and squealed like they had not seen each other in days or weeks, as they always do........they truly love one another more than I've ever seen two kids, but believe me they can still fight............they are Nanny's babies forever though.

The girls helped Nanny make cakes, cornbread, and cookies before Christmas, they did it all, eggs, milk, sugar, mixer, measuring, and pouring...it was so fun. Preslee has nanny's blue apron on, and Shelby has one made by aunt Barbara for me a few years ago....

Christmas Program

The girls were in a Christmas Program at their mothers day out, it was so cute, very quite, but still very cute, they sang about 12 songs, and they knew the words to all of them, they just didn't always sing them. hahahaha , it was worth every moment of moving around on the stage, I don't have great pictures because...I was to busy watching and so was my dear sweet Mark.....but it was great... Shelby is on the bottom row, the teacher is in red sweter,black pants, then a little girl in a red dress& white tights, then Shelby, in her jeans, Preslee is almost directly behind her in a red sweater,next to the boy in the red vest.

Thanksgiving early with the Drakes

Today we went and ate at Manny's UpTown Dallas for Thanksgiving Dinner with our families....the Justin and Brandi Drakes with Preslee and Landon , the Tiffiany and Jordan Campbell's with Shelby, (Jordan was unavoidably absent) but that's OK, he was in thoughts. then we had the Glenn and Beverly Drake's, the Mark and Becky Drake's, the Phillip and Jann Drake's with Tyler, and the Jennifer and James Strickland's with Ashley ( James was unavoidable absent as well, but more thoughts and prayers), then we had the Cathy and David Hendrix's with Les, ( which was also unavoidably absent , he was in New york, but their on the phone and lap top, ) and his beautiful girlfriend and her beautiful mom was there to celebrate Thanksgiving with us.....Erica thank you for your mom and your presence it meant so much....she also came bearing gifts.....homemade pumpkin bread.......ummm I tasted my earlier....too good. Ashley Strickland was so beautiful, and so sweet and has grown so much, aunt Becky was really missing her. and of course Mr Tyler ---looks like a young man now, with that manly voice, and so handsome........we will have a movie date soon. My three grand babies were so adorable, but you know I am a little particle..............they sure do love their Nanny and Pappy.....see you babies tomorrow.The women look great, the guys looked hot, and the food was fantastic.....we had so much to be thankful for........life, health, wealth, (until the bill) haha, love, kindness, and our Father in Heaven who watches over us all to guide and direct us....thank you God for that.....I'm going to send a picture over here, from another site, it may take me a day or two, and any of you who have any pictures you want on here just send them my way....Missed you Gina , Jack, Eric, and Lindsey, another sister who could not be there, but we keep them all in prayers.......love you all Happy Thanksgiving.............love Becky

We are the Drake's

The first 25 years of our marriage we didn't have digital cameras, let alone computers......It is not until after our 1st grandchild actually is born before we get a cameras, so its rather wordy, not by pictures, then we have pictures, so please bare with me.....Mark and I got married in April of 1979. The day was the 20th day of April, and it was the most wonderful day in my life. We just went to the Court House and got married...When you know something is right, its just right.
Justin our son, was born March 9 1980, and then Tiffiany our daughter was born January 13th 1982. We kinda adopted another son Bradley Turner along about the time Justin was in the 4th grade. He has a wonderful mom, he just kinda stayed with us a lot, and we called him our son, he is now grown and living in Lufkin Texas as a youth Pastor, but he is still our son. Over the years so much has happened and time flew by so fast. I'm going to post a few pictures later, and talk about some of those times, but for now I just wanted you to know who we are....We are the Drakes.....Mark, Becky, Justin, TIff, and of course Brad. We are a Blessed family. Our New additions have been Brandi--- Justin and her were married on April the 20th 2002,yes, it is the same date as our anniversary, what an Honor to celerate the same wedding date as your son, just different by about 23 years or so. Then there was Jordan---- Tiffiany and him were married on March the 8th 2003. Then we had a few more additions, Justin and Brandi had a beautiful baby girl Preslee Reese on March the 4th 2005, then Tiffiany and Jordan gave us another beautiful granddaughter on June the 30th 2006, and this coming April or May Justin and Brandi will be delivering our 1st grandson, Landon Kade....We have been growing by leaps and bounds, and it is all so wonderful.....Jordan and Tiffiany and Shelby are actuallys the Campbell Family....but we kept them under the Drake family as it all I know how to do right now.....I'm learning.......

Just a quick update

My cousin Amy has finished Chemo...........whew-who, she has been an inspiration to all of us, and her strength, her faith, and her courage is simply remarkable....We will keep you posted of the future checkups......She is now "NOT" the VICTIM, but the SURVIVOR....we love you Amy

This is Amy back in December before the diagnosis......I will put another picture on after her hair grows back out......she will like that, we're hoping maybe some curls.....hahhaha way to go sweetie..........i love you

Justin and Brandi's new baby boy, Landon Kade

Some more of my littel girls....

This is Preslee and Shelby during the Holidays....we were all very busy, but we had a great time, I'm just learning how to get the pictures on so we may be a Holiday or two behind.......The Drakes all send their love to all..................Preslee is on the left she will be 3 in March, Justin spoils her a lot.....not really she is perfect just like Shelby which is on the right, and she is like her mamma. She is putting on lipstick, and they are both girly girls Shelby will be two in June.........whew who I love it...

Happy Easter

Hi everyone,
we had a great Easter, we went to an Easter Play on Saturday Night from our church...It was one of the most amazing things, I've ever witnessed.....It was just the traditional Easter story, but it was truley amazing, not a dry eye anywhere near me, and my friend, that went with us, both her grandchildren went down and accepted Christ as their Savior........It was remarkable......we also went to Justin and Brandi's house on Easter Sunday for dinner, I think there were about 30 or so of us, and we had a great time, I'm going to post some pictures as soon as I learn how to get them from the camera.......hahahaha
It was a great day and we are all truely Blessed.
My cousin Amy that I've spoke with most of you about, she has cancer from a tumor on her ovarie, and is now in her second week of chemo, she had a pretty rough day, on Monday, but we will continue to pray for her healing, and I know she will be done with this auful thing really soon.....much love to all Becky Drake
